Oh procrastination, how we meet again. It's week 8 into the semester and I'm stuck deep in what seems like a never-ending pit of readings, assignments and deadlines. When people say the semester slowly creeps up on you, give them a dirty look and slap them across the face because they are dead wrong. The semester hits you right in the face at lightening speed and leaves you wondering what the hell you were doing the last 7 weeks. *Cue stress-induced maniacal crying and laughter* Despite this, a couple of pals and I took a trip to Stuttgart, Germany last weekend. Aside from the language barrier and the cold (9°C on Saturday - something I rarely experience) we had a well good time.
First meal when we arrived - Burgers at Hans im Glück
The first official day we were in Stuttgart, we took a bus from the City Centre to Rubble Hill (or Birkenkopf). Remains of ruin and rubble from the World War II were cleared and moved here. We could see almost the whole city, as this is the highest point in the City Centre.

Landesmuseum württemberg
We went to an old castle turned museum and decided to do the whole shebang, which cost about 7 euros. It was a bit dull and exhausting, and majority of things were in German. In retrospect, this isn't the greatest idea when you're halfway to dying due to starvation. The special (hence, strictly no photos) exhibition 'Christoph' displayed the life of the Renaissance prince through the Age of the Reformation. Interesting, though I think I would've enjoyed it more if I weren't thinking about food every couple of seconds.

Staatstheatre - Ballet and opera house
The Sunday we were due to fly back to England, we hit up the Mercedes Benz museum which for me, was definitely the highlight of the trip.
My new (or old) ride
Just some sweet rides and my fat head
Until next time x
